John is the head of Wild Giants. He has worked with wildlife conservation since 1993 and holds a Master of Science in Integrated Environmental Management and Sustainable Development and National Diploma in Nature Conservation.
John has worked in all aspects of the field, tourism, NRM, and Conservancy Support. Holding the position as head of the largest nature conservation organization in Namibia – and being a Himba himself, he is an expert on northern Namibia.
Frode is our head of marketing in Norway. In his country, he is the Norwegian voice of most BBC nature documentaries. He has also produced a documentary on lion conservation in Namibia.
He has developed a love for Namibia and has been a friend of John Kasaona ever since he interviewed John on stage for WWF Norway in 2013.
Frode is fascinated by the Namibian conservation programme for large predators like the desert lions. And he is a proud pen pal of Sir David Attenborough.

He loves to share his experiences as you journey through the wilderness, and enjoy keeping you spellbound with all his stories.
Gerrit is our expert animal spotter and simply love to prepare bush cuisine around the camp fire.
